Working as a Registered Manager at Woodford
I was recommended to Woodford from a friend who is currently working as part of the Woodford group. She advised for me to apply for the registered manager role as she knew my intentions were to work in a professional and established company who could support my development.
Upon application I had an informal conversation with the Director Paul Carr who gave me an insight of the organization.
Paul came across as a genuine person and his passion alone inspired me. I had a two stage interview process with Paul Carr and Chris Wells. I was impressed with the comprehensive knowledge that Paul demonstrated. This made me eager to work for Woodford.
I had the pleasure of meeting Paul and all the managers from the other homes who all gave me a warm welcome and all gave me positive feedback on their personal experiences. They were all very helpful and had a friendly approach. I was impressed with the passion that they all had and personal skills that they incorporated in their work. I was given clear communication from Lynn the administrator who supported me through my application process. I swiftly began my induction process, starting my IST foundation certificate, training modules and had one to ones with Paul who supported me throughout my induction.
I am excited for what the future holds at Woodford and would recommend this company for anyone who has a passion or young people and who wants to develop their skills and knowledge.
